Power System – Hairpin Motor × MTPA/MTPV
The Ultra Bee HP’s 21 kW Hairpin motor uses advanced winding technology for higher efficiency, better cooling, and stronger low-speed torque. Embedded permanent magnets boost torque density, while improved flux-weakening enables speeds up to 7,000 rpm with peak power sustained from 2,000–7,000 rpm. Paired with the MTPA/MTPV controller, it delivers smooth, powerful, and responsive performance across the entire range.
MTPA/MTPV Controller
Sur-Ron’s independently developed MTPA/MTPV controller features a redesigned structure and optimized circuitry to maximize the performance of the Hairpin permanent-magnet motor. Its advanced control strategy delivers smoother power, higher efficiency, and stronger overall responsiveness across all riding conditions.
74V 60Ah High-Performance Battery Pack
The all-new 74V60Ah lithium battery delivers abundant, stable power through an advanced, automotive-grade BMS with distributed temperature sensors and CAN-based communication. Optimized for high load capacity and long-term durability, the pack maintains exceptional stability across demanding off-road scenarios. Despite its capability, it weighs only 47 lbs and can be removed easily for convenient charging anytime, anywhere. All Sur-Ron battery cells come from top global suppliers and carry US UL certification for proven safety.

Designed for daily convenience, the 74V60Ah battery charges from 20–80% in just 2.5 hours, ensuring more ride time and less waiting. Safe, efficient, and long-lasting, it supports up to 71.5 miles of range and a top speed of 59 mph with confidence.
Suspension System
The Ultra Bee HP features an all-new custom suspension system, upgraded inside and out for smoother action and stronger support. The gold-finished front fork uses enhanced sliding sleeves for silky compression and rebound, offering a soft initial feel with greater load capacity through the mid and end stroke. With up to 9.4 inches of usable travel and adjustable compression and rebound, it adapts easily to forest trails, technical terrain, and track riding. A strengthened 7-series aluminum outer tube further improves overall rigidity and durability.
The INTERSECT TR multi-link rear suspension pairs fully adjustable air shocks with high-strength alloy springs, tuned specifically for the Ultra Bee’s performance characteristics. This setup maintains optimal tire contact and delivers precise, stable handling across varied off-road conditions.
Enhanced Braking System
The upgraded motorcycle-grade brakes deliver a 90% increase in caliper rigidity for stronger, more consistent stopping power. A light, linear lever feel allows precise one-finger control, giving riders confidence and safety across demanding off-road terrain.
New Primary Drive System
A newly developed carbon fiber core belt offers higher load capacity, superior wear resistance, and a 60% increase in ultimate strength. The tungsten carbide–coated pulley—second only to diamond in hardness—greatly enhances durability and service life for long-term, high-performance riding.
